ADULTS (Outpatient/Standard)
Prednisone 50 mg PO
13, 7, and 1 hour before injection

Diphenhydramine 50 mg PO
1 hour before injection

ADULTS (Inpatient/Urgent)
Hydrocortisone 200 mg IV
5 and 1 hour before injection

Diphenhydramine 50 mg PO/IM/IV
1 hour before injection
