ADULTS

Mild

Beta-agonist Inhaler 2 puffs (180 mcg)
Can be repeated up to 3 times

Moderate

Consider adding Epinephrine

Severe

Epipen® Delivers 0.3 mg Epinephrine IM
Repeat every 5 min up to 3 doses PRN

Epinephrine IM – 1 mg/mL (1:1,000 solution): 0.3 mL
Repeat every 5 min up to 3 doses PRN

Epinephrine IV – 0.1 mg/mL (1:10,000 solution): 1 mL slowly (2-5 min)
Repeat to total of 10 mL PRN
